Bible demonstrating his consistent relish asThe present is a finely preserved original Victorian example of a parian bust of Chicago evangelist, Dwight Lyman Moody. 8 1 2 inches tall in a very good state with very mild handling. Rare on the market. It was issued in tandem with a matching bust of Ira D. Sankey, presumably for the 1874 revivals in London. This was the height of his fame as an evangelist and many promotional products were created around this period.
